Rhythm games and music games provide interactive fun gameplay for the players

Best Music Games and Rhythm Games for Android

If you’re a music enthusiast looking for new ways to explore your passion, there are plenty of ways you can do so without ever needing to pick up a real instrument. Games like classic Dance Dance Revolution, Rock Band, and Guitar Hero were hugely popular rhythm games.

What are the best rhythm games and best music games for Android?

Now there are endless apps and games centered around music, helping you hone your skill.

Magic Piano

Price: Free with ads/ IAP from $0.99 – $99.99 per item

If you have always wanted to be a piano prodigy, this game is the perfect piano app for you to get familiar with the instrument. With a 4.4 rating out of 5, Magic Piano is completely free to download with minimal in-app purchases that you can choose to ignore if you want to. The objective of the game is to hit the right notes to your favorite songs with the touch of your finger. Every time you level up, you get a certain number of coins which you can then use to buy new songs. You also have the option to pay either $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year to get unlimited access to all of the songs on the app. One feature that I love about this game is that the songs conform to your speed. So, if you hit the notes at a slow speed, the song automatically slows down for you, speeding up gradually as you learn to play faster, making it all the more enjoyable.

Muse Dash

Price: Free/ IAP from $0.99 – $29.99 per item

Combining the effortless gameplay of a music game with the interactive quality of an RGP, Musedash is a game that’s easy to pick up and hard to put down. Your objective in the fame is to stay in rhythm to defeat the enemies that appear on your screen. The enemies are color-coded and you have to make sure that you play the corresponding note to make them go away, adding another layer of challenge to the rhythm game. My favorite feature in the game is that for every mistake you make, you lose health which makes the gameplay super exciting with high stakes. With constant additions of new songs and the game’s fun anime-style art, Musedash is free to download with in-app purchases starting from $0.99, making the game a wonderful musical experience for people of all ages.

Dancing Tiles

A better free rhythm game that will take up all of your free time is Dancing Tiles. Featuring fairly simple gameplay that tests your hand speed, Dancing Tiles comes with over a thousand songs from all different kinds of genres. What I really enjoyed about this game was the bright neon colors and graphics that it uses to add to the overall user experience along with their usage of the highest quality music tracks. The game is entirely free to download and while you might have to put up with a few ads here and there, they will not interfere with the actual gameplay.

Deemo

Price: Free with ads/ IAP from $0.99 – $54.99 per item

Not only is Deemo a great interactive music game to play, but with its selection of indie artists and composers, it will also introduce you to a whole new world of music. With over 200 tracks to choose from, Deemo is a music lover’s dream with fairly simple controls. As far as the gameplay goes, you play as a character named Alice who ends up at the home of a mysterious piano player named Deemo and the two set out to make music together. With each song, you get a series of difficulty levels where you have to keep in time with the rhythm and hit the right markers. The more levels you move up, the more music packs you unlock. Surprisingly, the game runs smoothly on every device, despite its heavy graphics. With easy controls and a storyline to keep you engaged, Deemo is one of the best music games you can ever play.

Groovepad

Price: Free with ads/ IAP from $6.99 – $46.99 per item

Groovepad is technically not a game rather a piece of excellent music making app. But the music & beat maker app could take as one of the best music games for android as it gives you a huge range of sounds to combine together to create personalized beats, offering you a virtual DJing experience like no other. There are tons of sound packs, instruments, and musical effects to create your own masterpiece just like you would if you were a real DJ. These songs you create can then be exported and shared with your friends and families, giving you an easy way to start developing your own music straight from your phone. You can choose to purchase new sound packs and sounds within the app if you want to but otherwise, Groovepad is completely free to download, helping you create professional songs anywhere and anytime, helping you bring out the artist hidden within.

Vectronom

Price: $5.49

Vectronom is a consistent rhythm game on Android for music enthusiasts who love a challenge. With its colorful graphics and high-quality sound paired with fun challenges, Vectronom is one of the most addictive music games you will ever play. With each level, you have to keep up with more and more complex rhythmic patterns to reach the end. So, while each level requires you to do the same thing, the increasing difficulty levels are going to keep you hooked for a long time. One tip that I have for playing Vectronom is to have your headphones on for the full musical experience that this free game has to offer.

My Singing Monsters

Price: Free with ads/ IAP from $0.99 – $99.99 per item

My Singing Monsters is a great family game for people who want to incorporate music into their everyday lives. Combining roleplay with rhythm, this game is free to download with in-app purchases that you can easily disable. The objective of the game is to collect different monsters and teach them how to sing the perfect song. The more monsters you collect, the more sounds you can add to your song. You also have the option to mute certain monsters or make some of them sound louder than the rest. In addition to creating the song, you also have to keep your monsters happy, breed them and make them do small tasks to earn money. My favorite part about this game is the constant updates and new in-game events that take place throughout the year, making sure that the gameplay never turns redundant.

Beat Racing:Car & EDM

Combining all the thrill of a good racing game with the addictive nature of a music game, Beat Racing is a game that you just won’t be able to put down. With colorful graphics and over 100 different songs to choose from, Beat Racing is easy to play and free to download.

If you’re a fan of the EDM genre, Music Ninja is the perfect game for you. The objective of this game is to choose a ninja weapon and use your fingers to hold and drag it to cut blocks and move them out of the way to keep the rhythm going. What I love about this game is that it doesn’t take up a lot of storage on your device. But at the same time, it has plenty of levels, music genres, and weapons to choose from to keep things interesting. With no ads and great sound quality, the only thing that Music Ninja needs is a bit more variety in terms of song choices but other than that, this game will have you hooked in no time.

Any seasoned gamer knows that there is no match for Cytus when it comes to rhythm games and Cytus 2 is no different. Cytus 2 is an immersive cyberpunk-inspired game set in a dystopian world where the player is responsible for humanity’s last chance at survival. Similar to most music games, you have to hit certain markers in time with the music that is playing but in Cytus 2, there is a line moving up and down on the screen and you can only hit the markers when the line is passing through them. At the same time, you need to hold some markers down, swipe up and down on some and create a zig-zag pattern with some – giving you plenty of action in the gameplay. With extremely high-quality audio, this game is free to download and gives you three difficulty levels to choose from, depending on your skill.

10 Best Basketball Games for Android

These are the best basketball games on mobiles for an immersive experience!

Best basketball games for Android

Basketball is one of the most played and beloved sports around the globe, and kids who have grown up with this sport have shown their interest in basketball video games. This is the reason why NBA’s video games have been a major hit, but not everyone can play those games on consoles. Developers have been more than active nowadays in bringing basketball games on mobile phones. Android smartphones are now capable of providing the same quality of gaming experience that you get from a console.

What are the best basketball games for Android?

If you’re looking forward to killing free time by playing some basketball games on an android phone, then try the following top free basketball games for Android.

Basketball Stars: Multiplayer

Price: Free with ads/ Offers IAP form $0.99

Starting off the list with Basketball Stars that has been developed by Miniclip.com who are famously known for their one of the best pool games 8 Ball Pool. This game is relatively easy and simple to play in comparison to other basketball games out there. It has two different game modes, the first one being the classic 1v1 matches and the second one being 1v1 shootouts. The biggest takeaway for me regarding this game has to be its 3D graphics that add a lot to the game play. The only downside to this game that I have experienced are the bugs that occur sometimes, especially when playing online with others.

Street Basketball

Price: Free with ads/ Offers IAP from $0.99
Screenshot of Street Basketball Association game android
Screenshot of Street Basketball Association game android

Talk about a game that takes you on a ride to the 1990s. Street Basketball Association is another beautiful looking game that lets you go through different game modes and options. Players can use different modes like’ Training’ and ‘League’ in the application. The game lets you play online with others as well, and unlike other basketball games there aren’t many glitches present in this one. You can get more satisfaction out of this as it also allows you to replay, watch, and share the game you have just played. The absence of 1v1 mode is felt in this but it’s just a minor complaint.

Bouncy Basketball

Price: Free with ads

If you’re a fan of the old arcade games that most of us have grown up with, then this one is definitely made for you. Bouncy Basketball is one of the better arcade-style basketball games which is simple yet a fun game to play on Android phones and tablets. There aren’t many controls in this game, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that the game is bad as it is super easy to play. The duration of the game can range from thirty to ninety seconds which is why it fits right in the arcade genre, and it also won’t be taking much of the player’s time. The only drawback of the game that I have experienced is the number of ads it displays time and time again, other than that it’s free to download.

Dude Perfect 2

Price: Free with ads/ Offers IAP from $0.99
Screenshot of Dude Perfect android basketball game
Screenshot of Dude Perfect android basketball game

Basketball games are fun and all, but it’s more fun when there are many obstacles included in it. Dude Perfect 2 is the best example of that, as the player has to shoot through various obstacles to get the perfect shot. The more stages you go through, the tougher the game would get and that is what makes this game all the more special. There are about 200 levels in this game, giving more reasons that you won’t get bored with it anytime soon. I feel that the game might not truly be called a basketball game, but it still is and it appeals to all ages.

Head Basketball

Price: Free with ads/ Offers IAP from $0.99
Screenshot of Head Basketball mobile game
Screenshot of Head Basketball mobile game

If a traditional basketball game isn’t your cup of tea, then this game should really give you a great experience. Imagine this game as if you’re a superhero that is battling all the odds in order to make a shot. This game also features popular fantasy stories such as ‘The Ghost Captain of Great Britain’. This game allows the user to use different supernatural powers, and also lets them play in unique situations. The only gripe that I have with this game is that it might feel a little bit imaginary but this is not a flaw by any means as it is still enjoyable. It’s free to download and it includes over 37 characters a player can choose.

Dunk Shot

Price: Free with ads/ Offers IAP from $0.99

Are you one of those individuals that isn’t a big fan of basketball, but would still enjoy a much lighter game when you want to spend some free time? Then this is the game to download as Dunk Shot is a game that is all about shooting basketballs through many hoops. With more hoops you pass through, the more points you would gain. This is one of those casual games that a person would play when he wants to relieve some stress off his shoulders. The only problem with this game is the multiple ads it displays, but that doesn’t take any fun away from it.

ESPN Fantasy Sports

Price: Free with ads/ Offers IAP from $4.99
Screenshot of ESPN Fantasy Sports Basketball app
Screenshot of ESPN Fantasy Sports Basketball app

Believe it or not, there’s a huge proportion of people that are obsessed with fantasy sports games, and just like any other sport, there too exists a fantasy sports game for basketball. This is the biggest fantasy basketball game that lets you do everything, whether it’s creating a new league, adding and dropping players from the team, or joining random leagues with strangers, this game has it all. ESPN Fantasy Sports not only lets you customize your entire team, but it also allows you to communicate with other managers in your league as well. The problems associated with this game are a few bugs, but the main one is that this game is only meant to be for the people that would spend their time on a fantasy sports game, and the average user might not like this game.

Mascot Dunks

Price: Free with ads/ Offers IAP from $0.99

Speaking of dunk shots, this game would appeal to a much younger audience for all the right reasons. All a user has to do is choose a mascot of his liking, dribble the ball, and perform dunk shots by jumping from a spring track. This game is highly popular within a much younger demographic, and after trying out the game, I truly believe this would become more popular as this year goes by.

Ketchapp Basketball

Price: Free with ads/ Offers IAP from $0.99
Screenshot of Ketchapp Basketball game
Screenshot of Ketchapp Basketball game

This list would have been incomplete without the addition of a basketball game that would have a compilation of different versions of this sport’s game. This Android game includes several of the basketball arcade games like dunk shot and dunk line. Overall, I believe that there’s not a lot to get excited over, but the overall compilation of this game is something that should be given a try.

NBA 2K20

Price: Free with ads/ Offers IAP from $0.99
Screenshot of NBA 2K20 android game
Screenshot of NBA 2K20 android game

Last but not the very least, this might be the absolute best basketball game an Android smartphone a user can download right now. This is the closest a person can come to experiencing what a basketball game might be like on consoles. High-end graphics of this game adds a great level of realism for players to drive satisfaction from. This is not a free game as it costs $7.99 or higher depending upon the place you live, but trust me, as every single penny is worth it.

When it comes to mobile phone games, the ones that involve this sport has come a long way, and the number of basketball games would continue to skyrocket. Let us know any great basketball games for Android you have enjoyed inthe comments.

There are many variations of slot games available here; many derived from slot machines in famous casinos. So, basically, if you were a devoted casino-goer back in the day, this is a good way to whip up the nostalgia (if there are no bad memories attached). However, nostalgia isn’t enough and a game wouldn’t make it to this list without bonuses. Of this, Caesar’s slots have a lot of exciting options. Thus, be sure to access the Vegas trivia and bonus wheel when you check this game out

My list barely scratches the surface of the online slot games that users can access via their android devices. What it does do is save you the time that would otherwise have been spent trying out disappointing games. If you don’t think so, check out these better android slot games and thank me later.

The Best Web Browsers for iPhone/iPad

These are the best free Safari alternatives for iOS devices

Best browser for iphone ipad

The ability to surf the internet at will and with relative ease (while on the move) are part of what led to the boom of smartphone technology. Nowadays, smartphones have developed to represent more than just that, but a browser is still one of those applications that are essential for optimal use of your mobile phone. Unfortunately, with the development of smartphones and increased usefulness of the internet have come some elements that frustrate phone users, even those with iOS devices.

What are the best browser for iphone and iPad devies?

Thankfully, there are a lot of browsers available on the app store that help mitigate the effects of these elements, and I am going to be looking at ten of the best mobile browser to aid your personal choice.

Safari

Price: Free
Screenshot of Safari iphone browser
Screenshot of Safari iPhone browser

Before we get to the best alternative mobile browsers for iOS let’s talk about the browser that comes with all iOS devices by default; the Safari. In line with Apple’s continued commitment to providing their customers with privacy, this browser utilizes intelligent tracking prevention to stump third-party advertisers and keep them from inundating you with ads.

There is also the reader mode that allows for ads-free surfing; the option for easy syncing with other iOS devices and the impressive compatibility with web pages that are boasted of by this browser. The latter ensures blazing-fast browsing.

Google Chrome

Price: Free

When it comes to smartphones of all types, the one name that seems ubiquitous is that of Google. The company seems to possess a long list of applications for almost all fundamental smartphone functions but one of their most popular apps has to be Chrome. It is undoubtedly one of the fastest and most secure mobile browsers.

While there are industry reservations about just how private the browser really is, it offers top-shelf syncing across multiple devices and platforms. There are other features as well such as its Adblocker, password manager, etc. and these are all made accessible via its neat interface.

Firefox

Price: Free
Screenshot of Firefox- Private, Safe Browser for iPhone
Screenshot of Firefox- Private, Safe Browser for iPhone

The interface of this browser might not be as easy to navigate as that of some other browsers on this list but it more than makes up for that with its almost obsessive focus on privacy. To give some context; you do not need an incognito mode to escape trackers and ads on this browser.

Its privacy-focused nature doesn’t mean it shirks its responsibility towards other aspects of web surfing. If anything, I found it to be quite fast. All of this can be enjoyed almost simultaneously on many devices as well thanks to its syncing abilities.

Microsoft Edge

Price: Free
Screenshot of Microsoft Edge- Web Browser app
Screenshot of Microsoft Edge- Web Browser app

For a long time, Microsoft was associated with the internet explorer, which had gradually become an eyesore and a subject of endless memes. Not anymore though has the Edge has replaced its ancient predecessor.

The Microsoft Edge is faster, provides more options for customizing your homepage, and employs features such as its own reader mode and Cortana Integration annotation tool. If you find that you want to block all cookies, you can do that as well. There’s just one caveat; it still has relatively limited Privacy features.

DuckDuckGo Privacy Browser

Price: Free
Screenshot of DuckDuckGo Privacy Browser app for iPhone
Screenshot of DuckDuckGo Privacy Browser app for iPhone

The name might sound funny but the browser app is actually quite good. If the name actually sounds more familiar than funny, it’s probably because of the search engine of the same name that promises not to track users’ activity. Similar to the search engine, the interface of the browser is very friendly.

It prevents tracking and allows you to view blocked trackers, includes smarter encryption, private search, supports ads (but can remove them following the payment of a one-time fee), and allows users to access privacy features via extensions. Beyond all this, the browser is relatively basic but its simplicity and privacy guard is its selling point.

Opera Browser

Price: Free
Screenshot of Opera Browser- Fast & Private
Screenshot of Opera Browser- Fast & Private

Opera has been around for a while since the Symbian OS for Nokia phones and is always looking to rejig the browsing experiences of users. As expected, surfing is fast on this browser thanks to its turbo tech that compresses web pages and reduces loading times.

This app also employs a distraction-less full-screen reading mode to aid concentration while reading. There is also the built-in VPN to enhance browsing privacy, crypto mining protection, and a crypto wallet. The experience of the developers comes to the fore with its interface as well, with accessible and easy-to-employ features.

Ghostery Dawn

Price: Free
Screenshot of Ghostery Dawn Privacy Browser for iOS
Screenshot of Ghostery Dawn Privacy Browser for iOS

This is not one of the most popular browsers on the app store by most metrics, but when you go from being a privacy add-on to being a full browser, it stands to reason that your input towards privacy is pretty exceptional.

The browser doesn’t complicate things at all and its interface is clean. With this browser, you get to browse without trackers hounding your every click and your history and cookies could be automatically deleted as well.

Brave Browser

Price: Free/ $9.99 per month
Screenshot of Brave Private Web Browser and VPN app
Screenshot of Brave Private Web Browser and VPN app

The brave browser is said to use the same rendering engine as Chrome, granting it a similar speed but I confess to not put that fact to the test. The browser also comes with its own default search engine, Ad-blocker, and tracking blocker.

The browser also permits syncing across multiple devices, access to a built-in VPN app (that could be used upon subscription for $9.99 per month or $99.99 yearly), and the option to use brave news with customized feeds. Some of its features might not be as polished as those of its top competition but its reviews indicate that there’s a lot to be impressed about regardless.

Aloha Browser

Price: Free/ Starts from $2.99
Screenshot of Aloha Browser- private VPN app for iPhone iPad
Screenshot of Aloha Browser- private VPN app for iPhone iPad

This particular browser comes in free and paid versions, so you should check out the free version before deciding to spend your money. The interface is direct and easy to understand, but the stand-out features of the browser are browsing speed and privacy. In addition, it includes a File manager, Adblock feature, and a built-in video player.

Its privacy-ensuring features include a VPN to facilitate anonymous browsing. The other significant privacy feature is less of a feature and more a lack of one; the developers of the browser claim not to log any activity.

Puffin Web Browser

Price: Free/ Starts from $0.99
Screenshot of Puffin Web Browser for iPad
Screenshot of Puffin Web Browser for iPad

Just like Opera, this browser uses a webpage compressing technology to reduce the size of data being downloaded and reduce the loading time. It’s a cloud browser that acts like a remote desktop client which accesses the cloud server with powerful technology instead of the website directly. As such, it is also one of the fastest browsers available to iOS users. However, you would have to brave some relative discomforts to enjoy this speed.

The first of these discomforts is a not-so-clean interface. There is also the issue of its virtual trackpad sometimes acting up. Regardless, if speed is of utmost importance to you, this is the browser for you, and it’s one of the best web browser for iPad devices.

Any of the browsers above would perform all of the basic web surfing functions with limited hiccups, but they all have unique strengths that could be leveraged. Assess your situation, decide what you’re looking for, and thank me later for simplifying your options.

Top 10 Free Compass Apps for Android

These Digital Compass apps offer direction, elevation, locations and, more information

Best Compass apps for Android

If you are an avid traveler or at a location where you are uncertain of the right direction, a compass app might come in handy. In addition to the direction the phone is pointing, compass apps provide information like your current location and address, elevation, sunrise & sunset times, etc. People are often confused about which app to install, given there are plenty of such apps in the Play Store.

What are the best compass apps for android phones?

I’ve listed out the top 10 Compass Apps and discussed the features that I like the most, along with an overall review of them.

Smart Compass

Price: Free/ Offers IAP

Smart Compass is what I think is the best compass app available on Android that manages to carry all the required features. You can switch between 6 different modes, including Standard, Telescope, Night, Digital, Map, & Satellite, and find your current location on the map with the help of a single button. Moreover, the app carries a Capture feature that is missing on all of the apps I tried. I believe this is one such feature that all the apps must implement. The app also allows you to capture the location image, coordinates, etc., with just a tap. It significantly helps store the location’s details that we stumble upon randomly. A separate Ad-Free version is available for $2.4.

Compass by PixelProse

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
Screenshot of Compass (Altimeter, Sunrise, Sunset) app
Screenshot of Compass (Altimeter, Sunrise, Sunset) app

Compass by PixelProse also includes an Altimeter and displays information like Sunrise & Sunset time. What sets this apart from the rest of the apps on the list is its clean yet stylish design. Carrying all the essential features just like the above apps and, most notably, the ZERO Ad presence in UI makes it one of the best compass App.

Compass Maps

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
Screenshot of Compass Maps app

How cool would it be to see your live location and direction as you move? Compass Maps does precisely just that. Indeed, it’s one of my favorite features of all the apps mentioned above. It uses Google Maps and GPS data to track your location and coordinates. Furthermore, you can switch between compass themes which is pretty cool. It’s an ad-supported free compass app, but luckily, there are not many ads.

Digital Compass

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
Screenshot of Digital Compass app for android
Screenshot of Digital Compass app for android

Digital Compass is a simple yet precise app that gets the job done. I like the app’s simplicity as it’s not too fancy or heavily designed. The app displays your current address location, latitude & longitude details, along with the magnetic strength. If you’re in an unknown location, this feature can significantly help. The app also has an inbuilt map that shows your present location.

Overall, I would say this app is perfect for those who are not much familiar with compasses and want the info straight. Despite its simplicity, the Interface is filled with Ads, and you can get rid of them by upgrading to the PRO version costs $0.40. Digital Compass app is available to download on the Google Play Store for free.

Digital Compass by KTW

Price: Free/ Offers IAP form $1.99
Screenshot of Digital Compass app by KTW
Screenshot of Digital Compass app by KTW

The next app on the list is Digital Compass going by the same name and has all the essential features as the above one. But what makes it better is that you can also check your altitude from the sea level, the speed of your vehicle, and more info! The most exciting feature is its ability to pin a particular direction by which you can check the difference between the pinned and the present direction. Furthermore, the app allows you to check the statuses of various sensors in the device. The app’s PRO version comes at $2.15, although you can download the free version for free.

Compass Steel

Price: Free/ Offers IAP from $.99
Screenshot of Compass Steel app
Screenshot of Compass Steel app

The Compass Steel app by SimplyWerx is more advanced than the previous two apps. We often switch between apps on our phones. In such cases, the Compass Steel app will come in handy as it supports Picture in Picture mode, meaning you can check active directions while keeping another app open. Additionally, you can easily change the themes & colors of the app. Sun & Moon timings is another feature that I like. The app will let you know the sunset & sunrise times for the present & the next day. Compass Steel is the way to go if you’re looking for a Compass app with ZERO Ads.

Compass Free

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
Screenshot of Compass Free - Directional Compass app
Screenshot of Compass Free – Directional Compass app

Unlike other apps in this list, Compass Free -Directional Compass lets you configure the Compass style, the background of the app (my favorite). It sows the four cardinal directions including both magnetic north and geographic north(true north) using the in-built sensor and GPS data. Users are also able to see data regarding longitude, latitude, address and can verify what type of sensor the device features. The free version contains only a handful of themes and styles which can be expanded by getting the premium of $20/year.

Accurate & Digital Compass

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
Screenshot for Accurate & Digital Compass for Android
Screenshot for Accurate & Digital Compass for Android

Compass – Accurate & Digital Compass may seem like just another compass app. But when you make the device parallel to yourself, you’ll see the camera activate automatically. I feel like they should’ve added a capture option that automatically captures the image along with the directions. However, it does more than show the directions. You can use your phone as a spirit leveler, and it automatically vibrates when at 0° surface level. The ad-free version costs $7/month.

Perfect Compass

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
Screenshot of Perfect Compass and weather app
Screenshot of Perfect Compass and weather app

In addition to Compass directions, the Perfect Compass app integrates features like weather reports, air pollution levels, flashlight/torch option, making it a worthy competitor. The only downside is that the app shows ads. The paid versions get rid of them, which comes in different plans, including $2.8/mo, $1.6/mo for 12 months, or a one-time payment of $28!

Compass 360 Pro Free

Price: Free
Screenshot of Compass 360 Pro Free app
Screenshot of Compass 360 Pro Free app

Moving to the Compass 360 Pro inheriting all the features from the above app and adding extra features like a spirit level. The ability to lock in a specific direction may seem an underrated feature. You can also change the skin of the Compass look. The simple design packing relevant features make Compass 360 Pro a good option.

Overall, each app carries its own set of pros & cons; most of them have ads, while only a few are ad-free. A compass app in regular life might not seem necessary; however, it can be handy outdoors or travel. I suggest you try out these compass apps and see which one you like the most. They all house the needed features with some extra perks.

How to Watch CrackStreams on FireStick TV

CrackStreams on FireStick TV is the best cord-cutter solution for any sports fan!

Watch CrackStreams on FireStick TV

What if we told you that you don’t have to pay to watch your favorite sport on your Amazon FireStick TV. So many bills for you to attend to, a little bill-free activity wouldn’t be wrong. What you need to enjoy watching your favorite sport for free on your FiresStick TV is CrackSteams. The best part is you can use CrackSteams across all Fire TV devices, your PC, Smartphone, and Android TV box.

So, prepare to enjoy yourself without subscription bills looking over your shoulder. You deserve to enjoy watching all forms of sport, and now, you will learn precisely how you can do this.

What is CrackSteams?

If I am not being overly dramatic, CrackSteams is freedom. It is a website that provides free access to sports viewing. You can get live sports or on-demand sports through this browser-based free streaming service.

The sporting options are almost limitless. You can stream basketball, football, boxing, UFC, MMA, cricket, and baseball. Get this. There is no location barrier as content comes from channels in different countries.

Now you can see why sports enthusiasts love CrackSteams. They get their favorite sporting content without having to pay a dime on a subscription. Essentially, CrackSteams is like a depot to fulfill all your sports entertainment needs.

How Does CrackSteams Work?

CrackSteams works for free on your FiresStick TV and other Fire TV devices. Interestingly, CrackSteams also works on your PC, Smartphone, and Android TV box providing you with all the sports streaming for free.

Unfortunately, CrackSteams is a question of a legal way to watch sports content thus being a target of the government due to copyright. Streaming platforms do not take kindly to a free alternative for people. Google has been hunting CrackSteams’ URLs due to various piracy petitions against CrackSteams. So, occasionally, users may not stream and access the streaming website.

So, when you search for the CrackSteams URL, know Google has knocked its URL off, but sites like CrackSteams have multiple URLs, which means CrackSteams has refused to die. But you might want to be extra careful and use a VPN when trying to access CrackSteams on your FiresStick TV.

How to Watch CrackStreams on FireStick TV

Remember I mentioned earlier that CrackSteams is a streaming website and browser-based. So because of this, you can use it via any browser. You can access it on your FiresStick TV with Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Silk. My personal preference is using the Silk browser, which makes it the first step you will take to use CrackSteams on your FiresStick TV. Here are the details;

First Step – Get Silk Browser

Download silk browser for firestick TV from Amazon Appstore
Download silk browser for firestick TV from Amazon Appstore

As I said, you can use different browsers, but I love the Silk browser. It usually comes pre-installed as the default web browser. Find the app titled “Internet”? If not, open the FirseStick home screen to download Silk browser and look for the search button below the screen. Seen it? Okay, let’s go. So, type Silk browser on the screen and search or click on the suggestion that your FiresStick TV browser will bring.

Search for Silk – Web Browser from Firestick home
Search for Silk – Web Browser from Firestick home

The search result will bring ‘ Silk – Web Browser’ in the ‘ Apps and Games’ box. That is the Silk browser, and when you see it, click the download icon at the lower left side of your screen and wait for your FiresStick TV to download and install it.

Install Silk web browser on Fire TV

After installing it, the FirseStick TV will inform you that it is ready to launch the browser through a pop-up in the lower right corner of your screen. You can choose to open if you want to begin to stream immediately. If not, you can return later. Silk browser is going nowhere. It will still be part of your downloaded apps.

You can choose to open if you want to begin to stream immediately. If not, you can return later. Silk browser is going nowhere. It will still be part of your downloaded apps.

Second Step – Go to CrackSteams on your FiresStick

Open Silk browser app on Fire TV
Open Silk browser app on Fire TV

So, you have downloaded and installed Silk browser. It is sitting comfortably as part of your FireStick TV apps. Now is the time for you to stream and beam without the nagging thought of paying subscription fees. So switch on your FirseStick TV and press the home screen. Hold until you get a screen with 5 icons with the clock overhead. Out of the 5 icons, click the app icon.

Browse the internet on amazon firestick TV
Browse the internet on amazon firestick TV

When you click the app icon, you will see the list of your apps and the Silk browser app. Select the Silk browser app to launch. You can decide to move to the apps on the front row of your FireStick TV home for easier access using the three horizontal lines on your FiresStick TV remote. These lines lead you to your FiresStick TV settings.

Add silk browser to fire tv homescreen
Add silk browser to fire tv home screen

When you get to your settings, use your remote’s choose button to move your Silk browser to the home screen’s top row. Open your Silk browser and input the URL crackstreams.me into the Silk browser. When you get on CrackSteams, choose what you want to stream.

Third Step – Watch your favourite sports on CrackSteams

Open your Silk browser and input the URL crackstreams.me into the Silk browser. When you get on CrackSteams, choose what you want to stream.

CrackSteams website interface
CrackSteams website interface

CrackSteams has a functional interface that is simple to use. There are various sports for you to watch. Just pick the one you want, and voila. You will stream specific sports for some matches by getting the streaming link a day before. However, for combat sports, you watch whatever they have available.

CrackSteams regularly update their information on available sports events to avoid confusion on users. Also, they have a discord server where they put regular information out about matches. The discord server has voice options, and it is generally easy to use.

You would enjoy your streams because CrackSteams doesn’t advertise while streaming matches. So, your streaming would be a seamless experience. Also, you wouldn’t be compromised as you don’t have to supply your personal data before you get access to streams. However, governments don’t like sites like CrackSteams, and as such, you would probably need to download a good VPN of your choice on your FireStick TV before accessing CrackSteams. You can use a good VPN app.

So sports enthusiast, enjoy your stream right in the comfort of your home and in your FireStick TV.

CrackSteams on firestick is an excellent way to watch free football content, but often it gets shut down by government and search engines due to its popularity and legal matters. So, as you are using your CrackSteams, you might want to keep your eye out for mirror websites or alternatives.

The Best Note Taking Apps for iPhone and iPad

These are the best iOS note taking apps for iphone or ipad to save all your ideas

Best Note Taking Apps for iPhone and iPad
Apps for taking notes on iPhone and iPad

If you needed any more evidence that the world has moved beyond taking notes with a pen and paper, I would have directed you to count the number of note-taking tools and apps available on your app store. But I know you don’t just as I know that you’re simply here to check out which app would serve you best.

However, before we get started on the list proper, you should know that this list of best note apps is truly a homage to the phone-companionship model of living that the world has assumed. As such, it would be best for you to have an idea of what you’re looking for before you make a decision.

What are the best note taking apps for smartphone and tablet?

Evernote

Price: Free/ Starts from $4.99
Screenshot of Evernote - Notes Organizer app for iPhone
Screenshot of Evernote – Notes Organizer app for iPhone

When Evernote was released to iOS users, note-taking apps were not that popular and it has built on its pioneer status impressively over the years. The app offers a variety of formats for users including video, images, web clippings, and hand-drawn sketches.

In addition, there’s also an inbuilt scanner for the app. However, all that pales in comparison to the range of synchronicity it offers. In true pioneer fashion, the app allows for notes taken to be shared on many devices even when they are utilizing different operating systems. Cool, right?

Apples notes

Price: Free
Screenshot of Apple Note app for iOS
Screenshot of Apple Note app for iOS

You already have a music app, app store, TV and then there’s the note. The default note app for apple devices would allow you to take notes build lists and add the extra features of allowing you to share said notes with other contacts or sync them with your other iOS devices. For iPad users, it brings state of art note taking features by using Apple Pencil.

Apple doesn’t just provide all sorts of functional tools for users; they also value the privacy of data and that’s evident in the quality of the lock feature that the notes sport.

Bear

Price: Free/ $1.49 per month
Screenshot of Bear - Markdown Notes app
Screenshot of Bear – Markdown Notes app

Another note-taking app that is immensely popular is Bear’s. They offer the same flexibility in the format of notes that Evernote does and has an even better interface. The downside to using the app is you have to pay for synchronization with other devices and it’s only available for iOS. However, that shouldn’t be too much of a discouragement considering the three-panel design that allows users to multitask handily.

Microsoft OneNote

Price: Free
Screenshot of Microsoft OneNote app for iPhone
Screenshot of Microsoft OneNote app for iPhone

Onenote is designed to consolidate the popularity of an existing brand. The OneNote app is intended to function closely with the Microsoft office application and OneDrive. As such, it would require a Microsoft account. The app would also allow for inter-platform synchronization as its available on other devices. Though it allows for note=taking in text, video, and audio formats, it is slightly disadvantageous for some users in that it doesn’t take handwritten notes.

Google Keep

Price: Free
Screenshot of Google Keep - Notes and lists app
Screenshot of Google Keep – Notes and lists app

Microsoft has theirs, Apple has theirs, where is Google’s? Cue Google Keep. This is a rather simple app compared to some of the others on this list, but it allows for the basics; multi-format note-taking and the creation of checklists. However, there’s no slacking off here from Google. One of the notable features of the app is the fact that items on a checklist are transferred to a completed-tasks tab after they are checked. The app also allows for notes to be created in colors that improve appearance and aid searches as well.

Notebook from Zoho

Price: Free
Screenshot of Notebook - Notes,To-do,Journal app
Screenshot of Notebook – Notes,To-do,Journal app

This is a card-based note-taking app for iOS users. As expected of an app made by developers of digital tools, this notebook allows for the synchronization of notes with other devices. The app is also good for multi-format note-taking especially when privacy is of the utmost importance. Individual notes taken here can be locked in with ease using a passcode or the Touch ID of your device. I found that the speed with which changes were reflected was one of the most impressive of the apps reviewed.

Paper by Dropbox

Price: Free
Screenshot of Paper by Dropbox Note app
Screenshot of Paper by Dropbox Note app

If you’re familiar with Dropbox and the ease it brings to work and file sharing, I can assure you that paper by Dropbox would be perfect for you. Consider it to be the note-taking extension of the regular app, complete with sharing function as well. Thanks to the fact that the app is available on android devices, you can synchronize on a wider range of mobile devices and Dropbox as well. Events can also be linked from your mobile calendar to the app if you so wish.

Quip

Price: Free
Screenshot of Quip - Docs, Chat, Sheets app
Screenshot of Quip – Docs, Chat, Sheets app

Compared to the apps that have been covered earlier, this is not so popular but it has a lot of sway with corporate heads in need of a platform that enables efficient team management. Quip allows for tasks to be assigned via shared notes (by tagging the relevant individual). The app also supports multiple formats, utilizes spreadsheets in notes (for those that need them), and facilitates chatting with the people on the other side of a shared note.

Pages by Apple

Price: Free
Screenshot of Pages Document Editing app for iPhone
Screenshot of Pages Document Editing app for iPhone

This isn’t a dedicated note-taking app but I had to include it here seeing as the description requires me to wax lyrical about note-taking apps on iOS devices. Pages is actually a word processor (Apple’s version of Microsoft Word if you may). It also allows for notes in audio, video, and image formats. As expected, notes taken can be synchronized across all Apple devices. Look out for the templates available in the app as they were among my favorite features.

Simplenote

Price: Free
Screenshot of Simple notes, todos and memos app
Screenshot of Simple notes, todos and memos app

Amidst all of the functionality offered by many of the apps on this list, users could forget the basic function of a note-taking app (hint in the name). as the name of this app goes through, it stays simple and true to its purpose. While it allows for the use of tags and pins to sort notes, users of this app can only make notes but cannot format text or attach files to notes. Notes made can be accessed on other devices as well.

Any.do

Price: Free/ $2.99 per month
Screenshot of Any.do- To do list & Calendar app
Screenshot of Any.do- To do list & Calendar app

As you know, Any.Do is one of the best apps to use as a reminder, but can also be used to take quick notes and write down things to remember. You can then set an alarm in the form of a notification or sound so you’ll never forget an appointment or event. You can even take notes by using voice to text feature.

Penultimate

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
Screenshot of Penultimate note app for iPad

Penultimate is one of the best note-taking apps for iPad. It gives you the natural experience of writing on paper using an apple pencil with the power and availability of Evernote technology. You can take notes, preserve drawings or share your next discovery on your iPad in the office, when you’re traveling, or from the comfort of your home. It is one of the oldest iPad note apps that still keeps up with its reputation. You can get some of the most useful modern features for free offered by costly note apps.

You have read through my list of note-taking apps for iOS devices from the refreshingly simple to the immensely functional. Now, make a decision on which is best for you and do the rest on app store.

The Best Cycling and Biking Apps for iPhone

0

These are the best apps for cyclists to improve training, track speed, see stats and avoid getting lost

best cycling and biking apps for iPhone

As a means of transportation, cycling might not be the quickest way of getting to your destination but it saves the environment from some of the strain it is currently under. However, the advantages of this activity go beyond environmental friendliness to influence our personal health directly. The benefits of cycling as a form of exercise cannot be understated and modern technological advancements have made it easier for us to leverage this exercise for better results. One of such advancements is the development of cycling apps/apps intended to aid locomotion.

What are the best iOS applications for cyclists and bikers?

The functions of these apps are far-reaching and innovative with some of them capable of monitoring heart rate, mapping out routes, and even determining the safety of routes. That said, some are more functional than others, and here are my 10 best biking/cycling apps for iPhone users.

Cyclemeter

Price: Free/ Upgrade $9.99
Screenshot of Cyclemeter Cycling Tracker app for iOS
Screenshot of Cyclemeter Cycling Tracker app for iOS

Cyclometer is developed especially for cyclists and is based on GPS data, Cyclometer tracks your trips, displays the speed in analog and digital format, and lets you race against a ghost of yourself. Also calculates time, average speed, and calories. So you can record all activities that make cycling maintain a temporal evolutionary history and know how you are progressing in “training”.

Apple Health

Price: Free
Screenshot of Apple health app
Screenshot of Apple health app

It’s hard to start a compilation of cycling apps on iOS devices without first touching on the default app on said device. The health app doesn’t come with the bells and whistles that other cycling apps possess though.

Apple are devoted to making devices that provide enough functionality to be daily technological companions and their health app is an extension of such devotion. However, the app isn’t solely concerned with tracking cycling data and all it offers in this regard are trackers for cycling distance on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis.

Kinetic Fit

Price: Free/ From $9.99
Screenshot of Kinetic Fit cycling app
Screenshot of Kinetic Fit cycling app

Kinetic fit is dedicated to improving the fitness of cyclists alone and was made for integration with smart trainers from the same company. As such, where some other apps might be focused on virtual racing experience, this one sticks to simply helping increase performance. What you get from kinetic fit would consist of workouts designed by real-life coaches and a post-workout analysis containing more than 50 data points to help identify potential areas of improvement.

Google Fit

Price: Free
Screenshot of Google Fit- Activity Tracker app
Screenshot of Google Fit- Activity Tracker app

This is another one of the total health and fitness watch packages. Google fit isn’t intended for cycling alone but it incorporates a partnership between the app, WHO, and the AHA to develop activity goals that improve the health of users. The app would connect to cycling apps like Strava if cycling is your activity of choice (as it most likely is if you’re on this page) for staying fit and healthy. You would then be able to access workout analysis and a journal of your activity whenever you wish.

Wahoo SYSTM

Price: Free/ $14.99 per month
Screenshot of Wahoo SYSTM Training App for Cycling
Screenshot of Wahoo SYSTM Training App for Cycling

While this isn’t exactly a biking app that is particularly aimed at people using cycling as a means of transportation, it is still highly effective for the fitness community. The SYSTM helps users to customize training plans to meet their fitness goals. Tips for Uninterrupted Video Streaming and Zoom meetings

7 Ways to ensure uninterrupted video-streaming, live streaming, and zoom meetings

These 7 tips will improve your zoom meetings and video streaming

People use the internet for pretty much everything in their lives these days, so it can be frustrating when it’s suddenly slow. Especially while streaming a movie or, more importantly, while working from home.

There can be several different reasons why the connection speed is acting up. The first thing to do is to use a free speed test tool to get an accurate read on both the upload and download speeds of the device. Then, if possible, test another device and compare. If the speed isn’t near what it’s supposed to be, then take a look at these suggestions that may help solve the problem.

Reset the Router

Sometimes the most simple fix is the best one. In the famous words of Roy from The IT Crowd: “Have you tried turning it off and on again?“. Resetting the router might be all it takes to get that connection fired up to full speed again.

If that doesn’t work and the router is a few years old, it may also just be time for a replacement. But that’s a drastic step so try some of the other options here first. Maybe something clicks, and then buying a whole new router won’t be necessary.

Move the Router or Use a Wi-Fi Range Extender

There may be a few things, such as walls and other appliances, that could be interfering with the router. Or it may simply be too far from the device, weakening the Wi-Fi connection. Both issues can be fixed by either moving the router closer to the device or investing in a Wi-Fi booster. The latter is a better choice if moving the router to a new spot in the house isn’t really an option.

Using a Wi-Fi range extender can also help if there’s a lot of interference from other Wi-Fi connections in the area. There are plenty of great ones at different budget levels, so shop around a bit for one that fits.

Switch to an Ethernet Cable

Sometimes Wi-Fi simply doesn’t cut it. Not just because there can be interference, but sometimes other factors can make the signal weak. Or the device can have trouble with its Wi-Fi settings. Or any number of a long list of other issues. So switching to a cable that can physically connect the device directly to the internet is always best. That may not always be possible, but if it is, stick to staying plugged in instead.

Replace Old Cables

Like with the router, old ethernet cables may cause connection issues like slowing it down or causing dips in connectivity. Especially if the cables are damaged in any way. Replacing the cables may solve the problem if nothing else seems to be causing the slow connection problems.

Use a VPN to Avoid ISP Throttling

All ISPs monitor their users’ online traffic, and many then throttle their connection speeds based on certain actions that take up a lot of bandwidth. Usually, things like streaming or online gaming. It isn’t fair to pay for a certain speed only to have it artificially slowed down for the ISPs own interests.

Many people turn to VPNs to solve this problem because virtual private networks encrypt people’s connections using strong algorithms. They also route a connection through a secure VPN server first before routing it through the ISP’s servers. This combination means that ISPs can no longer see what a person is doing online and won’t automatically throttle them.

Many premium VPNs offer apps for a wide range of devices, including smart TVs and consoles. Some VPNs even work with Firestick and Roku, making streaming without being throttled easier.

Upgrade the Internet Plan

It’s easy to forget that the more devices people add to their home, especially when working from home, the more it will bog down their internet. Adding a few extra smartphones to the household with constant Tik Tok videos and online gaming can take up a lot of bandwidth.

So if the household data plan hasn’t been upgraded in a while, it might not be adequate anymore. Check if the ISP offers an upgrade to a plan with more data and bandwidth to accommodate all of these new devices in the home.

Switch to a Different Provider

Some internet service providers just don’t have their clients’ best interests at heart, and paired with poor customer service, can’t offer them what they need. It could be time to move on to find new and better ISPs on the horizon. But as the adage goes, the grass isn’t always greener on the other side, so be sure to shop around first.

Check out reviews of popular ISPs in the area, look at their packages, and compare their offerings. Of course, it’s also possible to find some good deals at certain times of the year when ISPs throw in extras like a free router or free installation.

Figuring out the cause of a slow internet connection is a process that takes time and can often be a confusing undertaking. Try out these suggestions to see if any of them solve the problem.

Best Password Manager Apps for iPhone and iPad

These best password management apps for iOS also works on other platform

Best
PASSWORD APPS
for iPhone/ipad

Passwords are difficult to remember especially if you have many different accounts on multiple platforms. Personally, I used to have only two passwords I use on all my accounts. But I realize when it comes to passwords, easy equals are unsafe as they can be hacked easily. You’re probably thinking why I bothered when there are password chains and browser auto-fills to come to my rescue. Well, those are also unsafe and potentially dangerous because they maintain lower security protocols.

The solution is a password manager app (to secure all your various, complex passwords with a single master password) and that’s why you’re on this page. Specifically, you want a password manager for iOS devices. Unfortunately, (or fortunately) I can’t endorse any single product for you because I’m not aware of your particular situation, but here is a list of my nine best password managers for iPhone to help narrow down your options. They also work great on all other devices with cross-platform support.

What are the best pssword manager for iPhone and iPad

A good password manager lets you store all credentials and login to the sites, once and for all, and protect access by a master password. The passwords are stored in encrypted form on a secure server and become available on any computer and used on smartphone and tablet devices.

Bitwarden

Price: Free
Screenshot of Bitwarden Password Manager app
Screenshot of Bitwarden Password Manager app

On the surface, Bitwarden might be quite difficult to get used to compared to some of the other available options on this list. However, if you succeed in navigating its learning curve, access to all of the basic tools you need in a good password manager. Bitwarden is probably the most popular password app because of the huge migrated userbase from Lastpass when they announced new pricing recently.

The advantage of this app is its relative cheapness; it does all the basics on its free version and offers extra features in its paid plans at significantly less than most top-end managers. However, you should note that there are no recovery options available.

Dashlane

Price: Free/ #3.99 – $59.99
Screen shot of Dashlane – Password Manager
Screenshot of Dashlane – Password Manager

Dashlane – Password Manager is one of the best password apps for all your digital devices. The one thing this app has going for it that elevates it above many others is its ease of use. It does the business of generating, saving, and auto-filling of passwords with little fuss. Then it goes further with its additional tools and features. Users can choose where to store the data: only locally, or synchronize them in the cloud services. The application stores the login, access keys, e-mail, addresses, credit cards and sends alerts to the security breach.

All of this is possible because of the nearly seamless integration with iOS. Dashlane also allows for syncing across all your iOS devices and, if necessary, sharing passwords with other Dashlane users. There’s a free version, a premium version, and a Family Plan. The free version allows for the storage of 50 passwords per device and you would do well to check out this app.

1Password

Price: Free/ $3.99 – $35.99
Screenshot of 1Password - Password Manager for iOS
Screenshot of 1Password – Password Manager for iOS

1Password is one of the better password app for the iPhone that has a nice interface and it goes beyond just helping you store/auto-fill passwords (if you wish). Using this app, you could auto-fill other personal info with much ease as well.  1password stores all your data locally on your computer. Even if you choose to synchronize your data with other devices, your master password never leaves your computer or device. So decryption is always carried out locally and the decrypted data is never written to disk.

The app offers three plans; free, personal, and family plan. The free plan does the basics without allowing for unlimited storage. The personal plan that allows for unlimited storage doesn’t allow for password sharing. As you may have guessed, this app is mostly very suitable for groups of people looking to utilize the families plan.

Keeper

Price: $9.99 – $29.99
Screenshot of Keeper Password Manager iPhone app
Screenshot of Keeper Password Manager iPhone app

The name doesn’t possess a password reference but it does point towards something; security. As such, this app brings to the table more security-consciousness than most password managers around. This includes regular safety audits and 256-bit AES encryption. With its high-performance encryption technology and security, primarily Keeper plays the card of security at the expense of ergonomics and clarity of its interface. However, for a free app on iOS, the features are easy to use and there are many – especially the destruction capacity of all data recorded after five incorrect entries of the master password.

The app also lends some of this safety to its encrypted messenger, KeeperChat, which possesses speed and a self-destruct feature (in case you deal with sensitive info). Unfortunately, the free plan on this app is available on only one device and doesn’t provide access to any of the security features. That said, you have the Unlimited and family plans to check out if you like what you see.

RoboForm

Price: Free/ $23.99
Screenshot of RoboForm Password Manager app
Screenshot of RoboForm Password Manager app

If you find yourself in constant need of filling forms for whatever reason, this is the app for you. Yes, it’s a password manager but its stand-out features are the pre-built identity templates and the option to create further identity templates of your own.

This would mean the ease of auto-filling passwords would, to a large extent, extend towards other data and info as well. The free version of this app is limited to use on a single device and is without multi-device syncing and emergency access. If you want those, you would have to opt for the Everywhere or Everywhere Family plans.

Avira PWM

Price: Free/ $2.99 – $31.99
Screenshot of Avira Password Manager app
Screenshot of Avira Password Manager app

Some people find it adds to pay for anything. It’s not stinginess; it’s just a principle. Unfortunately, most times optimal services or near-optimal services have to pay for. Avira bucks the trend when it comes to password managers, offering more than most other apps on its free plan. It generates, saves, and auto-fills passwords as expected but goes on to offer unlimited storage and usage on unlimited devices as part of its free plan. However, password auditing and monitoring of potential data leaks are restricted to the paid version.

LastPass

Price: Free/ $35.99
Screenshot of LastPass Password Manager app
Screenshot of LastPass Password Manager app

What Avira gives, LastPass can give more. That’s how the saying goes or, at least, that’s how it would go if we were comparing both on a closed list. This app provides unlimited password storage on multiple devices on its free plan. With LastPass, all your data is encrypted locally on your PC using encryption AES 256 and only you can unlock them. Your access key never leaves your device and is never shared with LastPass.

The free version also allows for password sharing and one-click changing. Wonderful, right? Well, it can get even better if you pay the required fees for the Premium or Family plan. They have more security features.

mSecure

Price: Free/ $29.99
Screenshot of Password Manager - mSecure app
Screenshot of Password Manager – mSecure app

mSecure is another app that goes beyond merely dealing with managing passwords, to also include all sorts of data filling that you may need to do online. To that effect, it has templates to help sort your data more efficiently. It is, however, going to require an upgrade to the paid versions for you to customize your own templates or back up stored data on the cloud. Multi-device syncing is also one of the other features available on a paid plan.

Sticky Password

Price: Free/ $26.99
Screenshot of Sticky Password Manager & Safe app
Screenshot of Sticky Password Manager & Safe app

The name is quite catchy and the app does the rest. Its interface is passably good and you could use the app to store notes and bookmarks in addition to passwords and filling web forms. All of this can then be made accessible to any PC using the Portable USB Password Manager feature. This basically allows you to load data securely off the app and onto your PC if you need to do so. The free app stores unlimited passwords but is, unfortunately, limited to only 1 device.

As always, the apps are arranged in no definite order, so, make of them what you will. There are also more features to each app but my guide is a good, narrow map to help find your password security solution.

How to block my phone from being tracked – Turn off location Sharing

Change Settings to stop location tracking on your phone and stop others from knowing your location

Stop location tracking Android

Location tracking is now integrated with almost any app we use every day. Location-based apps are great for finding nearby restaurants, giving us driving directions, and monitoring our exercise habits. But this convenience raises a big privacy concern as many of the apps might use it for bad instances or leak your location to others. Google has been tracking Android users’ GPS data for a very long time, and it’s time to decide if that’s a bridge too far. So, how to stop location tracking on your Android phone and how to delete your location history from apps?

Which Apps Track Your Location?

Here are some types of apps that may be tracking your location:

  • Ride Apps. Apps like Uber and Ola keep track of your position for their drivers, and they may do so constantly rather than just when you need a ride.
  • Shopping and coupon apps. These applications attempt to gather as much information from you as possible for advertising purposes, which often includes your location data.
  • Weather apps. These apps monitor your data in parts to provide more targeted weather information based on your location.
  • Social media apps. Many social media apps track your location to show you more relevant posts or ads on a wide variety of subjects. Social media applications also often use the information they have on you to recommend friends, posts, etc.
  • Streaming applications. Yes, even popular movie watching apps like Netflix use trackers to find out their users’ locations.

  • Go to Settings then find “Activity controls” by typing it in the search box and tap it when it shows.
  • Chose the Google account that you want to manage in case you have multiple accounts added.
  • A browser window will appear where you can turn off or pause the monitoring of various activities, including setting auto-delete and managing a timeline of your activity.

How to Disable Location Services on Android

The easiest way to turn location tracking on or off as you need it is from the Quick Settings tray (swipe down from the top of your screen). Find the “Location” icon and tap to toggle the location feature on and off. It should turn out gray when switch off.

You can also disable location services on your smartphone by going to Settings > Privacy > Location Services. It will prevent apps from tracking your location using cellular networks and Wi-Fi hotspots.

However, you should know that some apps will still have access to your location when you’re using them. For example, Google Maps needs to know where you are to show accurate directions and turn-by-turn navigation.

You can change the settings of each app on an individual basis by going back to Privacy > Location Services > scroll down until you find the app in question > toggle whether it has access to location services.

How to Disable Location Services on iOS

To disable location services on iOS, open the Settings app > tap Privacy > scroll down to Location Services and choose “Never.” This will keep all apps from tracking your location.

However, even when you turn it off, some apps will still access your location while using them.

For example, the Maps app can track your location when you’re using the app for directions or turn-by-turn navigation. You can change this by opening Maps > tap the three dots in the top right corner of the screen > choose “Settings” > toggle whether it has access to location services.

How to disable location tracking for individual apps

You can find out which apps actually use location tracking and just disable it for those that you feel don’t need it. In some cases when you turn off permissions in the Android Settings, various apps themselves will continually try to get you to restore that permission.

  • Long press the Location icon in your Quick Settings tray to enter the location settings.
  • Tap on App permission or App location permissions to find a list of current apps that have permission to access your location.
  • Tap on any app name to change the permission to either allow all of the time, allow only while in use, ask every time, or deny.

Use VPN to protect location data

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) service encrypts all the data traveling to and from your device. VPN apps are great for protecting your privacy because they keep third parties from intercepting and monitoring your internet traffic, including location data.

However, the biggest advantage of Virtual Private Networks relates to your IP address. Typically, your ISP reveals multiple details about you, like your Internet Service Provider and approximate location. Web entities usually read your IP address to determine your whereabouts. And this, of course, has legitimate reasons (like calculating shipping fees).

Unfortunately, your IP address could also allow web entities to make certain judgments based on your location. Thus, imagine your IP address as something you unknowingly show to almost everyone online. Downloading a VPN prevents web entities from learning your location.

Why avoid revealing your Location

Your approximate location is a useful identifier for many entities. Governments, advertisers, data brokers, and ISPs might all be after such data. Additionally, even if you hide your location extracted via GPS, Bluetooth, or IP address, you should also avoid revealing your whereabouts.

It might be satisfying to boast about your trips or stays at luxurious hotels, but it is best to never reveal your whereabouts on social media. If you really want to show your followers or friends where you have been, we recommend posting such posts a few days after the fact. Exposing your location in real-time is a danger that you should not risk.

Nowadays, smartphones are a vital aspect of everybody’s daily lives. There is a lot of information in these phones, and they can even track the user’s location precisely. However, you can block location tracking on your smartphone using the above-given methods. So, make sure you follow this guide when you decide to change your location settings.

Of course, be vigilant yourself and adjust your browsing habits to conceal as much as possible about your identity. Your privacy is precious, and the common tracking practices are not doing users any favors. The only option is to take matters into your own hands if you notice unwanted behavior.

Running SNES or PSP games is very simple on RetroArch if you have the required plugin. However, if you can learn a bit of advanced knowledge regarding ROMs stuff then RetroArch is a truly unique PSP emulator for playing tons of different systems.

PPSSPP Gold

Price: $3.99

Even though it a few bucks, PPSSPP Gold is the hands-down best PSP emulator for android you could experience. It works smoothly as a way of repeating the experience of playing on a PSP console.

Install a PSP emulator like PPSSPP or any other from the list below.

  2. Download a PSP Game ROM

Download ISO or CSO game files are known as PSP Games ROM from various sources online. Note that, these files are not always legal, so download at your own risk. If you own a PSP console, there are tools to dump game you own. Use a Torrenting app or a Torrent client on your PC to download and the file.

  3. Copy the game image file

On your android’s storage create a folder called “PSP”, then create a subfolder called “GAME.” Move or transfer the downloaded CSO or ISO file on the “GAME” folder.

  4. Run an Emulator app

Launch a PSP emulator app, and you will find the option to load and start your copied PSP ROM. Enjoy!

Devices with powerful specs offer the best emulator performance speeds. Moreover, with the highest quality devices, glitches are almost inevitable from time to time. It’s not often we have a clear favorite when we look at the best apps for various categories. However, this time around the first app that we detailed, the PPSSPP – PSP Emulator, is by far the best of the PSP emulators for Android. Frankly, while some of the other PSP emulator apps work well enough, many emulators on the play store merely trying to emulate (excuse the pun) the PPSSPP app. The premium PPSSPP Gold offers a lot more features for $3.99. If you have a favorite PSP emulator for android, not in this list, or perhaps you notice a good new one that has arrived, let us know.

The Best Free Music Streaming Apps for iPhone & iPad

These are the Best free music apps to listen music on iOS devices

Free music streaming apps for iphone

Online music streaming services already have entered the lives of many music lovers. The music streaming services is on the rise while downloading music regresses. Music streaming service is a convenient way to explore, find and listen to thousands of free music. In addition, they are increasingly a great way to create personal playlists and mixes and share them with your friends via social networks. If you believe all the audiophiles out there, music is life, and to completely enjoy that life using your iOS device, you have to be logged into the best music apps; they are your only guarantee of quality music.

What are the best free music apps for iPhone?

You could browse through our list of the 10 best music apps for iOS devices, make your choice on which seems to be best for you and try it (or them) out. When you’re done, chances are you’d be deleting the free apps on your phone forever. Let’s get started.

Spotify

Price: Free/ $10 per month
Spotify New Music and Podcasts for iOS

This is arguably the most popular music streaming platform and its popularity is usually emphasized by how regularly its streaming stats are used in rating artists. That said, though, it has a lot of quality competition around nowadays.

The free version of the streaming service would require you to bear the constant appearance of ads (just like many apps nowadays) but that has to be worth the over 70 million songs you’d have access to and the variety of other services and features it provides. The best part, your login could be utilized on other devices beyond your iOS device including smart TV apps.

YouTube Music

Price: Free/ $12.99 per month
YouTube Music app for iphone

Here is a streaming service that has spawned from the expansion efforts of a parent venture. It was only reasonable that if YouTube were to expand its content streaming services, music would be the next media on their list and so it came to pass a few years ago when YouTube music was launched.

As expected, this platform grants a lot of access to diverse music but the sound quality of the free service is not up there with the best yet. Offline listening is also still a feature reserved for paying customers and, thankfully, ads are not really as much of a disruption as they could be.

Deezer

Price: Free/ $10 per month
Deezer- Music & Podcast Player iOS music streaming

You can’t compile a list of music streaming services without mentioning Deezer and that says a lot about the quality they bring to your ears. This quality might not be completely obvious if you are using the free tier but you’d still have access to a vast catalog of music and playlists.

Beyond music though, Deezer also grants users access to non-music content as well, including podcasts which makes it a great podcast player app as well. It is quite easy to use but it might not be the most popular platform to discover non-mainstream music creators.

SoundCloud

Price: Free/ $5.99 per month
SoundCloud - Music & Songs app for iphone

With a library that offers well over a hundred million songs and a following from music creators globally, SoundCloud has to be one of the largest streaming platforms around. The major problem with this service, though, stems from the fact that it is quite popular among “upcoming artistes”. You would get to listen to songs that haven’t been discovered and overplayed by others but the quality of these songs, in terms of musical appeal and sound quality, is anyone’s guess.

TIDAL

Price: Free/ From $5 per month
TIDAL Music streaming app iOS

This isn’t the most robust music streaming service in the market but it grew in popularity thanks to the fact that it was owned, managed, and marketed by artists. That is no longer the case but the ethos of the original venture still remains. This is most famous as the Hi-Fi music app for mobile as it offers the biggest collection of high-resolution songs.

The platform incorporates a lot of the features present in other music streaming services and also claims to do a better work of compensating artists and linking them to fans. You get to connect with your favorite artists while listening to top-end content.

Audiomack

Price: Free/ $4.99 per month
Audiomack - Download New Music on iPhone

Audiomack is a newer free music app for iPhone and iOS devices. This music streaming service offers a lot of songs and it claims to be “artiste-first”. The free tier is one of the best around because it mostly makes use of silent pop-up ads that don’t interfere with the music streaming.

In addition, users get to download a large catalog of songs for offline streaming but a paid account would be needed to download premium songs. The one drawback is its relative newness and lack of popularity with many established artists.

Boomplay

Price: Free/ $1.99 per month
Boomplay- Download New Songs for iPhone

Originally created with an emphasis on African music, this app has since widened its horizons to include various genres of music. The basic tier, Boomplay Music free doesn’t allow for ad-free or offline listening services but these are available on paid subscriptions.

The free service, however, offers a higher sound quality than most of its competition in the streaming market. The app contains other features as well and could even help with your music discovery endeavors.

Tunein

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
TuneIn Radio app for iPhone

Tunein is actually a full-on audio streaming service that provides users access to news, sports, music, podcasts, etc. The focus is not strictly on music or music stations but rather on radio stations. It is one of the best radio apps for iPhone to listen to News & FM Music.

While there is no music catalog data that can be used to assess the value of this app for music listening, Tunein offers access to many big-name radio stations and podcasts. Furthermore, the app allows users to select genre-specific stations to meet their needs at a certain time.

Shazam

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
Shazam- Music Discovery app for iOS

Shazam is not music streaming app in the conventional sense. It doesn’t allow you to listen to music or stream it but what it does is help identify music that you like but don’t know and it is one of the best at doing this. However, it’s an extremely useful music app for streamers to identify songs and quickly open them into the user’s choice of music streaming app then play or add to a list.

It has a long list of features to ensure that it delivers its services efficiently. This includes helping to identify not just music but also TV shows, and commercials. All of the information obtained on the media that is identified can then be used to access them on platforms like YouTube and Spotify. Cool, right?

Apple Music

Price: $9.99 per month
Apple music app for iphone

This would be top of the list as it’s Apple’s own music service for users with iOS, Mac OS, and Apple TV devices. However, that’s not the case because it doesn’t offer free music streaming. Furthermore, the general size of the available music catalog is still somehow limited but growing rapidly.

It still deserves a spot on this list because of the famous apple ecosystem. What the paid service would get you, though, is a music app that grants you access to the ad-free 24-hour radio station with celebrity DJs at the wheel, a wide catalog of songs, and recommended playlists that take into consideration your listening habits. Also, the new high resolution with spatial music that offers virtual surrounding music is quite an experience if you have the supported headphones.

Let it be said that I’ve done my part in introducing you to the music streaming apps that provides quality service, now it’s your turn to get them. While doing so, remember one thing though, this list is in no particular order and is in no way indicative of what I love or which I love best. Adios!

The Best Free Shooting Games for iPhone and iPad

Get ready to pull the triggers with these best shooting games for iOS

Best shooter games for iPhone, iPad iOS devices

Sports lovers love sport games, fashion lovers love fashion games, puzzle lovers love puzzles and the classifications go on and on. However, there’s one class of game that most gamers in the world today just seem to love and this is shooting games. Unfortunately for gamers though, the best shooting games had been restricted to consoles for quite a while but thanks to the development in mobile technology in the last decade, game developers have started to bring our best console games to the small screen.

What are the best free shooter game for iOS devices?

The shooting games for iPhone and iPad provide plenty of action and adventure, play competing with weapons that seem increasingly closer to reality. Ironically, many of the shooting games available on iOS devices are free. There might require lots of space and the downloading of regular upgrades to keep them ticking along, but they require no initial purchase fee.

Call of Duty®: Mobile

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
Call of Duty Mobile shooter for iphone

This is arguably the most popular and most exciting first person shooting game on iOS devices and it’s easy to see why. A lot of its reputation may come from its rep on consoles but the mobile version is well-made as well.

For starters, the graphics are exceptional and the realism is as advertised. Just like the console version, you get to enjoy many different modes, many different weapons and some knife action when you run out of ammo. The game does exceedingly wellproviding gamers the experience of battle royale, sniper and player vs player in PvP mode as well.

Modern Combat 5

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
mobile FPS Shooting Game for iOS

One of the better mobile FPS Shooting Game for iOS devices. From the gameplay, it is obvious that it was partially modeled after Call of Duty and though it does well in its own right, it can’t take top spot from COD.

What it can do, however, is provide you with exciting, first-person shooting action. It also has very nice graphics. Unfortunately, just like the game it closely resembles, the game can only be played online.

Into the Dead 2

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
Kill zombies, run for survival iphone shooting game

This is easily one of the best shooting games available on iOS supported mobile devices. This is the first zombie-centric shooting game on my list and you have to love the level of detail it has. It combines an interesting story with run for survival and all of the grisly zombie-killing we can expect from this brand of apocalyptic game.

You might have to spend some currency to access all there is to this game but it should be worth it. The only flaw I can point to is the expected lack of innovativeness (how developed can zombies get though?).

Shadowgun Legends: Online FPS

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
Multiplayer RPG Shooting Games iOS

This is an online FPS shooter with multiplayer RPG element. This started out like a scene straight out of Edge of Tomorrow and delivered on its sci-fi apocalypse vibe. I personally loved customizing my legend and using weapons that packed more oomph than your regular guns.

My only reservation is that, for a game that is basically imagining an extinction-level alien invasion, the beginning had some sound effects that could only be described as chipper (give me some solemnity, please).

Infinity Shooting: Galaxy War

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
Infinity Shooting game for iphone ipad

I had checked out some sci-fi shooting games and some tactical combat games, and I felt it was the time for mechanical, spaceship action in the mold of chicken invaders. Infinity shooting topped my list for such games.

It might not offer a lot in terms of tactical flexibility but from the potential special effects to the little bonuses you pick up as you play, it has enough excitement to be a good step down from battle royal games.

Bad2bad Extinction

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
BAD 2 BAD iPad shooting game

For people who are looking for some non-human, non-first person shooting games, Bad2Bad is the best you can get. Those humanoid animals moving together in tactical units are not a bad sight. This shooting game is optimized for playing on iPad devices.

However, fierce-looking animals on the cover sort of raised my expectations for the graphics and effects but that wasn’t to be. Keep your expectations regarding graphics down and you should enjoy it as much as I did.

Tacticool

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
Online 5v5 shooter for iOS

You could see what the developers of this game where trying to do with the name and the gameplay followed in that direction. I played with a few friends in PvP multiplayer mode and though there were not that good, the potential for fun in the game was obvious.

Like most shooting games at this level, there were lots of weapons and available upgrades on weapons. The maps were really helpful as well but if you want the full excitement, you may need to dig in for some in-game purchases.

Sniper Strike: Special Ops

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
Amazing 3D sniper FPS for iPhone and iPad

There are many first person shooter games that allow for a lot of mobility and strategic activity but not so many quality sniping games. Though, sniper strike doesn’t offer what those other games do, you can enjoy it.

The sound effects, combined with the graphics and in-game weather situations make for an interesting game but I couldn’t help but feel bored by the repetitive nature of the missions (I think this is the major problem with sniper games).

Infinity Ops: Sci-Fi FPS

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
Epic shooter game for iphone

Another sci-fi shooting game for iPhone that incorporates a lot from the shooting games that came before it, infinity ops is interesting to play with friends. I loved the comprehensive training I was given before starting the game and the locations were very futuristic.

The only flaw I can point to is the absence of an extensive campaign mode with missions that get the blood pumping and increase the stakes.

Code of War: Modern Shooter

Price: Free/ Offers IAP

I think the fact that this game wasn’t first person shooter detracted a little from the excitement but the vision such a game affords is worth it sometimes. On top of that it’s one of the best 3D shooting games for mobile. That said, there were weapons, missions, good enough graphics and that iconic punisher-esque skull logo to make my shooting around very interesting. This game brings the fun and avoids the unpredictability of COD and the likes while staying relatively affordable.

Brothers in Arms 3

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
Army gun shooter online PvP for iOS

Brothers in Arms 3 is military fighting games based on the 2nd World War in which you’ll have to control soldiers and all weapons to shoot the enemies. Somewhat surprising when you consider the quality of the gameplay, its spectacular graphics and other improvements that the game offers. It will surely entertain you for hours.

Frontline Commando: D-DAY

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
War shooting game for iPad

Frontline Commando: D-DAY is another kind of shooting game in 3RD person for players who love to war. This game is set in World War 2 involving many violent conflicts and full of blood. All the climate of war will provide many extremely heavy and violent feelings on the screen of your device.

Six Guns

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
Western shooting game for iphone

Six Guns is one of the longest-running games in the App Store and has received many updates to make it a real toast for gamers who love to play shooting in the Old Wild West. This title of Gameloft takes you to the Far West to end all kinds of creatures and enemies of our horse riding.

Blitz Brigade

Price: Free/ Offers IAP
Multiplayer FPS shooter online for iphone

Blitz Brigade is one of the funniest online shooter and cheerful shooter game from Gameloft. It features a multiplayer mode where players can participate in team matches with chat support. 12 gamers can attel at the same time using hundreds of weapons.

What did you think of this collection? These are just some of the most important shooter in the App Store, but there are many more! What is your favorite shooter game for iPhone? Let us know in the comments!

Best WoW TBC Hunter Pets and How to Get Them

WOW TBC Hunter Guide – What’s the best pet to have as a hunter?

Best WoW TBC Hunter Pets

The Burning Crusade brings a great time to be a Hunter player as you can now access more pet families. The pets have been reworked, hunters are self-sustainable (while solo farming, remember?), and deal a lot of damage. It’s a pleasure to play! Hunters have always (and will be) been a strong class in WoW. They’re always viable and welcomed into the raid.

Pets are an inherent part of hunter gameplay. They come with unique features and different abilities to tackle different situations, such as Ravagers for PvE and Scorpids in PvP. However, the fundamentals of pets remain the same, you need to keep your pet’s happy by feeding well, train and also taming certain pets for maximum ranks of specific pet abilities.

So, how does each one of them affect your gameplay? Let’s find out what is the best hunter pet TBC!

What are the Significant TBC changes?

  • Hunters have had significant class changes. Talents and pets were reworked, as well as the dead zone was removed.
  • In TBC, pets’ survivability and damage output have improved compared to Classic, thanks to scaling pets’ stats to percentages of Hunter’s stats.
  • Pets, apart from being a literal cannon of damage (if you feed them), get advantages from your stats, flasks, elixirs, potions, and racial abilities like Blood Fury.
  • Attack speed has normalized to 2.0. There’s no need to look for rare pets with this amount of speed attack. Like it was in Classic with Brokentooth.

Leveling Pets

At level 10, you’re able to tame a pet of your choice. Each time when you want to get a new pet, or you’re unfamiliar with a mob, use an ability, Beast Lore. It provides you with full information about the pet you’re about to tame.

You’re gonna spend a lot of time with this type of pet while leveling. Make sure it’s a great companion! Pets start at their own mob level (if you tame level 10, you’ll get a level 10 pet), then they level up with the Hunter until they get to the character’s level and stop gaining experience. They’ll always be a bit behind you though.

Don’t forget to train your pets. They can only get special abilities from a pet trainer.

Best Warcraft pets and where to find them

There are quite a number of pets in World of Warcraft with many pet groups and species. Each type of pet can be divided into these categories:

  • General Pets – These are the middle ground of damage and defense. They make moderate damage and are sturdy. They’re decent, but do not excel at anything. (wolf, serpent, hyena)
  • Defense Pets – These pets are ironclad: they take more damage, yet deal less. They’re very good for farming, solo play, and PvP arenas  (scorpids, turtles, boars)
  • Offense Pets – Deals the most damage. They have less armor and are more squishy. (ravagers)

Don’t keep your pets hungry. If you feed them, they deal 125% more damage. Let’s check out some of the pets to level with.

Boars

Boars are a wonderful Defense pet. They have several active and passive abilities such as Gore, as well as both Dash and Charge. The pet will quickly engage in combat and keep the aggro: best of both worlds. They’re scattered across the world of Azeroth and Outlands. For example Durotar, Hellfire Peninsula, Teldrassil, Westfall, Mulgore.

Bats

Bats are Offense pets that are more Horde-inclined since they’re easier to find for this faction. They have speed abilities that help them engage combat faster, like Dive; they also have aoe generating ability: Screech (like Owls). Found in Tirisfal Glades, Eastern Plaguelands, various Dungeons, and Raids.

Owls

Owls are more Alliance-friendly Offense pets. Screech is the main aoe threat generator, which is lacking in most pets, thus making Owls outstanding. They also possess Dive, which makes them engage in combat faster. Can be found in Teldrassil, Nagrand.

PvE: Raiding and Dungeons

Damage is essential when it comes to raiding. The main focus of a DPS class is dealing maximum damage to beat the top place in the damage meter.

In World of Warcraft TBC, four pet families are popular in PvE:

Ravagers

Due to their high damage modifier of 1.10, Ravagers are considered the Best in Slot WoW Classic TBC hunter pets. They can learn both Gore and Bite, which are the best damage-dealing abilities. With a talent Go for the Throat, you can spam Gore and get maximum DPS output.

Considering Gore has a chance of doing double damage at once, it’s an easy choice for PvE. You can find them in Hellfire Peninsula. If you’re an Alliance player you can get them straight from Azuremyst Isle.

Cats

Cats (and Raptors) are an alternative to Ravagers for those who don’t care about min-maxing every aspect of their gameplay. They belong to the Offense pet category. If you care only about the pet itself, these options are great. These pet families come with Claw and Bite, which are fairly good too. Cats and Raptors can be found in Stranglethorn Vale and Durotar.

Wind Serpents

Some people might argue that Wind Serpents are the best choice for PvE, yet there are a few things to consider. At around 30% of Critical Strike, you would opt for a Wind Serpent, because the focus capped Go for the Throat. However, there are a few drawbacks to know about:

  1. You will need Stormstrike charges which could be applied to someone else in the raid by a Shaman. (or they could use it for overall DPS increase of the raid)
  2. The AI of Wind Serpents is whacky. Can be frustrating to deal with, which is not the case with Ravagers.

Scorpids

The third family of pets you should have! Ravagers deal more damage, yet Scorpids have an advantage when it comes to PvP with their Scorpid Poison ability. This effect is stacked 5 times and prevents Viper Sting from dispelling off the enemy healer.

PvP: Arena

Although the Cat’s enhanced stealth is useful, we believe it’s difficult to look past Scorpid Poison ability to accumulate poison damage. Scorpids are only available in one model in WoW, however, they come in a variety of colors to choose from.

Conclusion: The Best Pets to Tame

In WoW Classic TBC best hunter pet stables are reserved for three pets, so you will have to rotate between various pets. You will have to adjust to raid mechanics.

For example, you will need two Ravagers with different damage builds that are going to be specifically suited for a certain boss. Usually, it’s two Ravagers and one Scorpid in the active pet rotation.

So here is the conclusion:

  • PvE: Ravager, Scorpid, Wind Serpent
    • Cats, Raptors
  • PvP: Scorpid
  • Leveling: Boar, Owl, Bat

No matter what type of pet you will choose, we hope you’ll have fun playing the World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Classic!
