It’s up to Clementine to find safety and she’ll need to rely on her survival instinct and solve dilemmas along the way, many of which have gruesome consequences. It’s worth saying that this one follows the Season One game and decisions made in that one can influence what happens in this, so you might also want to download Season One.

It offers a nicely different slant and it’s an awesome and brutal game but there’s a drawback. The app is free to download and episode 1 of 5 is free to play. However, if you want to play the remaining 4 episodes you’ll need to do so through in-app purchases.

It offers an immersive experience with an engaging storyline as well as a great soundtrack and effects. Character development is one of the highlights of this game and it offers 3 different personas, over 100 gear sets and upgradable body implants, and more than 40 weapons that can also be upgraded. The game also features controller support and customizable on-screen controls.

This health and fitness app is not strictly a game but we wanted to include it, as it’s an interesting way to get fitter in a way that feels like a lot of fun. We came across it while searching for zombie games and if you like zombie games and also want to look after yourself it offers the best of both worlds. You simply run as you would normally but you act as Runner 5 with people counting on you for their lives. The intriguing experience makes it sound like the zombies are getting closer as you run, groaning on their approach and sending chills down your spine. You’ll be the hero of each mission and will find it certainly motivates you to run faster and longer.

Apart from the audio zombie dramas, you can mix in songs from your own playlist, and it becomes so gripping you’ll find you’re running further than usual without thinking about it. The first 4 missions are free and further ones can then be unlocked at the rate of 1 a week. You’ll play as one of a few survivors trying to head to a military base for safety, and the game involves mowing down zombies as they roam the streets. You can run them down with your car or blast them with the mounted gun, and features include a story mode with 8 chapters and a Time Trial mode.

Very decent graphics add to the atmosphere of this game where you’ll be slaying zombies from a helicopter above. It has a nicely different slant and you’ll need to lead allies of military survivors on scavenging missions, attain resources, and return to the airfield base, all the time fighting off the zombie threat. Intense action and convincing weaponry add to the experience so do check it out.

You’ll join a task force dubbed the Wolfpack and will need to find out the secret behind the plague while fighting the walking dead. One of the most enjoyable aspects is being able to take on friends in PvP battles. There are more than 150 missions, over 40 realistic weapons, and plenty of customizable elements, and Unkilled is violent and intense with high-quality visuals.

To do this you’ll build a battle horde of fighters with Brute, Mauler, and Stalker classes, equip them with armor and weapons, and progress across 4 Fighting Leagues to eventual victory.
