Here is another goodies from LG Optimus 2X. If you have been looking for the cool Weather widget from LG Optimus 2X then the waiting is over. Xda member Sony_Ericsson_X10 just found the  TodayBriefingWidget.apk from LG Optimus 2X system Dump. He even edited it and made another version which don’t have Black Background if that’s how you like it. You can download both Original and Edited version from the link below. The Widget don’t need any tweak to install. Simply Download and install. However  TodayBriefingWidget.apk takes one full homescreen unless you use any Launcher App to resize Widget such as Launcher Pro or ADW Launcher.     Works for me.

    U have to download to PC then use the HTCsync.

    But u have to use the whole screen for this widget. that sucks!

      @ShootMie: using samsung kies on galaxy 3 -GTI5801, do cant use HTCsync. Any other suggestions?

    its works and looks real nice on mytouch 4G it has to be downloaded on to the root of the sdcard for it to work .

    This widget is amazing! It looks similar to the actual lg optimus 2x version. I would just prefer it to have the high and low temperature for the day and the real feel. Other than that, it’s fantastic!

    The widget itself looks pretty good, but i think that the widget that appears when you touch the clock looks real legit. If you could use the widget on the forecast screen, the one with the high and low temp and the real feel, that would be identical!

    Hi! I have a nexus one and looks great.
    One thing that I can’t get to work is the automatic update for the temperature. The background changes but not the temperature. To update that I have to press the widget and then update from within the widget. Very annoying..

    Any suggestions how to fix this?

    Nice looking widget, but its design seems to be a copy of the 3D Digital Weather Clock released by Factory Widgets.

    Why not use GO Weather app from GO Dev Team. It looks almost the same

    Full screen version works on thunderbolt, but edited does not. Don’t want a full screen weather widget.

    It’s not good. It uses the whole screen on my SGS! I can’t put anything else above or below it.
