It seems Sony Ericsson working on a series of Walkman Android Phone line up. The company confirmed it’s first Android Walkman phone as W8 a few weeks ago. The W8 is yet to release in market but here we got the news for it’s younger brother leaked as W18i on a pdf document. With a different look (similar to Xperia Play shape) feature a Marvell PXA 920 processor, clocked at 806 MHz and the HVGA screen measures 3.2″. The device will have 150MB of internal memory and a microSD card slot (up to 32GB cards will be supported. There is a 3 MP camera with 480p video recording and a front facing camera also available for video calling. W18i supposed run on Android 2.2 Froyo.
Based on the spec above we guess Sony Ericsson trying to bring us a budget handset with their popular Walkman brand for young Android user. There is no info on a release date or pricing yet. If you look close on the image above the date shown 09-24-2011, which might be a clue from Sony Ericsson.
