Sliding Messaging Android Text Message App

Sliding Messaging is a relatively new app on the Store which has gathered a number of fans quickly. The app aims to replace the stock messaging app provided by the manufacturer, with one more easy to understand add work with. It provides a number of useful options, such as: easily switching between conversations by dragging out the sliding menu on the left side of the screen, starting a new conversation by sliding out the menu on the right side of the screen and managing old messages with a single click.

Sliding Messaging only works with Android 4.0 and above. It provides an interface similar to the stock ICS SMS app provided by Google. On top of that it supports changing the theme to dark or light and the gesture based interaction stated above. You can adjust text size and control notifications and theme though settings and there is even a quick reply popup, multi-window support for Galaxy Note and Light Flow compatibility for LED notifications. It’s light and easy to understand, overall a very good alternative for the SMS messaging client.
