The barcode goes to nothing, the direct installer fails, and when I downloaded the APK file (both times) the package installer states that it could not parse the file.

another package installer states that the file could not be opened as an APK file….

also, it’s no where on the market. I have a 2.2 system.

The file was tested on Galaxy S and it’s working fine. Try to install Market enabler than use barcode or direct install. Thanks!

Thanks for the tip. The market enabler app works great, and allowed me to install a couple other apps I’ve been having issues with, unfortunately I am still unable to locate this app, through the barcode, direct install, on the market in general, or by downloading and attempting to install the apk.

maybe there’s something else I’m missing. I’m stuck with this Moto Cliq, running a rooted 2.2 stock android rom.

I’ve booted into the moto cliq 2.2 version (would be stock) without any luck either.

bah, I might just need to wait until next month when I finally get the Nexus S

There is a much better application for Android. It is called iMediaShare and is available for free at Android Market. Plus it supports Android 1.6+ devices.

    • LoweringSkies

iMediashare only streams from phone to “other” device where Skifta goes both ways…no pun intended :)

Another failed app that won’t work on 2.1… This is becoming shameful… I’m using a Samsung Vibrant, and now too many applications are only for 2.2+ or have a failed installer.

It seems like a worthwhile concept but at launch it spends an inordinate amount of time waiting for wifi connection. I’m sitting 3 feef from the router. It also did not pick up my WD HDTV. It is where I plan to use it.
