Samsung Galaxy SIII MHL adapter not compatible with earlier versions

The MHL cable (Mobile High-definition Link) can be used to connect you Samsung device to an HD TV for watching video or presentations. Galaxy SII users are perfectly aware that this proprietary cable is the only way to connect your Samsung Galaxy device to a TV. Now, you had an Galaxy SII and making the most obvious choice you decided to upgrade to the Galaxy SIII. After spending money on the MHL adapter, that is not as cheap as one would think, you thought it would be compatible with the next Samsung device. Well, think again because it’s not. Samsung have prepared another line of accessories for their latest device. Further more, an MHL cable is not included with the device, as was the case with the Galaxy SIII. How much will the new cable cost? Well, about 30$. I told you it wasn’t cheap.
