Samsung officially rolling out the Gingerbread update for international version of Galaxy S GT-I900 across the Europe.  As you can see the image above shows a new firmware version is available for your device which is reportedly Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread.     Having wasted 3 days -my advice: Throw your phone out and go for an iphone. Because samsung kies is simply too dumb to either detect the phone or update the phone software. If you want to spend the rest of your life trying the 100 odd tricks that are strewn all over the web on how to update the s/w then ofcourse you can continue trying!

      @maria yes im agree with u samsung kies really does not support their own handsets i’ve been trying from last week to upgrade to gingerbread but got nothing….i dont want to try it anymore.
