Microsoft is rumoured to be considering opening its full Office suite to both of Apple iPad and Google Android tablets, enabling users to create and edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint files. That being said, the folks at The Daily learned that the Microsoft Office Mobile development team finished work on the project in April, followed thereafter by the design team. Microsoft Office running on an iPad and that Microsoft is gearing towards a November arrival for both the iOS and Android platforms.
According to tech website BGR, Microsoft set to release the full suite of Microsoft Office for iPad and Android Tablets. Their source claimed that he has seen the app running in an iPad which almost identical to the leaked image above appeared few months ago. Back in that time Microsoft denied the existence of work for office on iPad and said it’s a fake. But it’s perfectly normal for companies to decline any rumours to keep the works in secret.
Since Windows 8 is optimised for Tablets and ready to release in last 2012, it’s believable that Microsoft also working on Office for other platforms while it’s working on Office for its own tablet OS. Hopefully the rumour is true and we will be able to see most productivity PC tool on our beloved Android Tablet.
