LG love their customers and valued them, to convenience LG smartphones user experience the company is now offering “LG Remote Call services”. LG to be the first mobile phone manufacturer to offer such remote maintenance services. This remote customer care services, which includes a pre-loaded Remote Call application and the LG FOTA (Firmware Over-the-Air) system, as a way to diagnose software problems and to distribute software upgrades direct to customers’ phones.
For any software side problem LG Smartphones owner with “LG Remote Call services” won’t have to visit an LG Customer Information Center. Remote Call app will diagnose the device and an LG CIC agents will be able to wirelessly access the device and fix it. However, For security purposes, LG technical staff will not be able to access any personal information — including emails, messages, calendars or pictures unless the owner give permission.
The Remote Call services initially roll-out on premium Optimus smartphones, including the LG Optimus 2X, the LG Optimus Black and the LG Optimus 3D in Korea and will be followed by customers in Europe, the Asia Pacific region and South and Central America throughout the second half of the year.
