Google’s 7 inch Nexus Tablet from Asus will be Available in July with a volume of 600,000 units initially

Nvidia just revealed it’s KAI Tablet platform which will makes it possible to produce $199 Quad core Android Tablets. Since CES in Jan Asus supposed to release a 7 inch Android Tablet which appears on Nvidia’s press release too! As we told you this could be the Google Nexus Tablet we heard of. Various sources suggests that Google to launch a 7 inch Nexus Tablet made by Asus which would priced around $150-$200.

Once again a report published on digitimes confirmed that Google’s 7-inch tablet PC, which the company co-developed with Asustek computer, is set to start shipping in June with initial shipments to reach about 600,000 units. Google originally planned  to launch The Nexus Tablet in May but delayed to match the design expectations and keeping the cost minimum level. Google’s I/O conference scheduled on June 27, so an announcement of the Nexus tablet should comes there.

According to the source, 2-2.5 million Nexus Tablet units targets to ship in 2012. Other rumours also suggested that Google will allow multiple OEMs to release up to 5 Nexus branded devices.
