Google introduces “Handwrite” Input for Phones and Tablets (Video) (How to enable it)

Google Handwriting Input for Phones and Tablets Unveiled (Video)

Yet another cool feature from Google, allowing the users to write their search terms with finger instead of typing in the search field. The  beta version of the software has been officially rolled out and it works very good. You only need to write your key word then pick from the usual list of incoming search items. Here is how to activate the service if you want to give it a try.

Accessing Google.com on your mobile device and tapping on settings, at the bottom of the page, will take you to a screen where you immediately notice the new option to enable “handwrite”. Once activated don’t forget to hit save and that is about it. The new service is available in 27 different languages and you can start using your fingers straight on the Google search screen. Bellow, enjoy the official presentation video:

While it is cool, watch out for MS type of issues (EU legal issues) as it ONLY works on native browser and/or Chrome browser, not on Firefox or Opera as far as it does on the first two listed.
