If you own one of the following HTC Android Smartphone or planning to get one then you would be glad to hear that HTC is working to bring Android Gingerbread OS to it’s HTC Desire HD, Desire Z, Desire and Incredible S in next quarter of 2011. An HTC spokesperson told SlashGear that “We are excited to announce that the Desire HD, Desire Z, Desire and Incredible S will receive the Gingerbread update in Q2.”
HTC Desire owners previously has been updated from Andorid 2.1 Eclair to 2.2 Froyo and now should look forward to the 2nd Upgrade with recently announced HTC Desire S in MWC 2011. Several months old HTC desire HD is as HTC Desire Z also in the Update list and probably a new version codenamed as HTC Pyramid will come out later in 2011 with dual core processor. HTC Incredible S was introduced only in last week and this would be the ending device from HTC running Android 2.2 froyo at Launch which will get it’s Gingerbread treatment along with other devices. Finally, very recently introduced Desire S and Wildfire S will be powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread right out of the box.
