The perfect solution for transferring files from PC to your Android smartphone is made by CTrox and called FilePush. The application works with the Google Account you use on your Android device. It detects and pushes files to the smartphone, either directly or through Google Drive. To work, you need to download and install the client software on your PC. Once you installed the client you need to login using your Google account, choose your connection and start the Android app so the smartphone can be discovered. This is pretty much everything you need to do. The PC software setup screen allows you to select two right click context actions that will be used to transfer files. You can either select just one or multiple files to be transferred using the right click action.

The Android app interface is very nice and easy to use. Transfer progress will show up in the notification tray and the app lists all the files you’ve successfully (or not) transfered. The action bar has buttons you can use to move, delete or share the files. The settings menu lets you choose whether the file is permanently deleted or just removed when you use the delete option and the folder for the transferred files.
