Facebook announces App Center for Android

The Facebook app for Android device, iPhone or iPad is more interesting. Facebook has declared that it is launching in the Android Stores on Thursday night.  It is a social app discovery service with over 600 apps available to start with. You will get recommendations based on what your friends have recently installed. One you find something you feel like installing, the link will take you straight to the Play Store. We’ve seen these services before on the Play Store, through popular apps like AppBrain or Appreciate. Facebook is aiming higher and they are likely to succeed given the popularity of their social network. What makes the Facebook App Center really interesting is the ability to consolidate all your desktop and mobile apps into one place. You can give feedback and ratings that will help developers establish the quality of their products and further improve upon them. All the apps that use Facebook login will be listed and there is upcoming support for a paid system. We can expect access to Facebook App Center very soon.
