The official Twitter app for Android just updated to v2.1.0 and brings some enjoyment for twitter lovers. The latest Twitter for Android brings Push Notifications which will let you instantly receive Twitter updates – no matter what you’re doing on your phone, and support for Multiple Accounts switching which will allow user to switch between multiple accounts without ever logging out. The function will save signing out – signing in time and with no hassle user can use Multiple Accounts alongside.
To enable Push Notifications go in your account settings, select “automatic refresh” and choose to receive updates for Direct Messages, @Mentions (from the people you follow or anyone), and Tweets. The Update also revamped appearance of home screen widgets and added a bunch of other improvements and bug fixes.
