The streaming service from HBO on Android rumor has been going for quite some time now. Finally Home Box Office Inc. released HBO GO Android App which will allow to watch over 1,400 of your favorite HBO shows, including HBO original programming, hit movies, sports, comedy and much more—now available on Android smartphones! It’s HBO now Anywhere.
Unfortunately HBO GO® is only accessible in the US , Free with your HBO subscription through participating television providers. Minimum 3G connection is required for viewing on mobile devices.
In a simple user interface if you’re an HBO subscriber, sign in and dive through the extensive list of movies, series, comedy, sports, documentaries and (of course), late-night. You can stream on either 3G or Wifi. The video quality is quite good and if the buffering drops off, the stream will revert to audio-only while it catches up.
