CM10 (CyanogenMod) android mobile operating system, is an open source replacement firmware for smart phones and tablet computers. It offers features and options not found in the official firmware distributed by vendors of these devices.
Following the announcement that the CyanogenMod Team made a while back, about the new version 10 based on Jelly Bean, preview builds have started showing up for various devices. We’ve seen ported to the Asus Transformer, Lg Optimus 4X, Samsung Galaxy S III and others. There are still a lot of popular devices waiting for a taste of Android 4.1. And what better way to get it then through the most popular custom ROM for Android.
CM 10 is now available for Motorola devices like the Atrix, DEFY and DEFY+, following the Xoom tablet that already got a preview build. Jelly Bean based CyanogenMod is also available as of now for the HTC One X, the all to popular quad-core device. These builds are far from finished and there are still a lot of bugs and features missing. You also need to be careful and not cause permanent damage to your device while flashing. You can download CM 10 for the Motorola Atrix, DEFY and DEFY+ and HTC One X following the links to XDA Developers threads.
