Without a doubt, some of the best Android tablets available on the market are made by Asus. They are the manufacturers behind the latest hit Nexus 7 from Google and they continue to amaze with their hybrids that can replace a full featured laptop. Some of Asus’s tablets come with a locked bootloader, making it very hard for the dev community to release custom ROM’s and mods. However, Asus wants to give the users the freedom they require so they constantly release special tools for unlocking their devices.
The ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity 700 is the manufacturer’s latest full featured tablet, that can of curse transform through the available keyboard dock. The amazing 1920 x 1200 pixels, 10.1 inches display that the Infinity offers is something we are not used to seeing on the market. Currently, only Huawei with their MediaPad 10 FHD is the main rival for the Asus product, in terms of screen res. About the state of the Infinity, the device ships with a locked bootloader, a fact that had many users disappointed. However, Asus released a bootloader unlock tool that you can use if you want to Root and mod the device. Keep in mind that once you unlock it, the device will not be covered by the original warranty and it cannot be re-locked. You can find more details about the tool on XDA and download links are also provided.
