Ice Cream Sandwich makes a huge difference over previous versions of Android for tablets. I’s faster, more stable and a lot more powerful. More so with version 4.0.4, the latest for ICS. As Samsung previously stated, they intend on releasing updates for all their tablets during August and July. Next in line is the Tab 7.7.
Build number P6800XXLQ1, CSC: P6800OXALQ1 and MODEM: P6800XXLPW, Android 4.0.4 is now available for the Tab 7.7 via Samsung Keis (reportedly in across Eurpe). It was first announced in the usual way by SamMobile.com and the latest build can be also downloaded from their website and flash it (Guide). We expect the updates for the older models to also be available in the coming weeks. At the moment I am more curious which of Samsung’s tablets will be updated to the newest Android version – Jelly Bean.
