With the launch of Android 4.1 – Jelly Bean, manufacturers must hurry to update their devices with ICS – Android 4.0.4. Asus has already planed updates to Jelly Bean for most of their devices. Till then, ICS in its newest form will have to do, as it runs very well.
Asus started software version 9.20.1.22 update roll-out for the PadFone. This brings the device to Android 4.0.4, including lots of bug fixes and optimizations. Features such as improved power usage and camera performance are included. In the change log we notice support for 64GB SD cards and a new Super Note function, with handwriting recognition. Improved system stabilization is also something you can expect from the new software version. If you haven’t received the update notification you can manually download and install it from the Asus website.
